H&M Chicago Debuts Versace Line
The new H&M Women’s line is eclectic, bold and reminiscent of Summer with pops of pink and turquoise. Below was my personal favorite for bringing in the holiday season in style. Shelling out $199, not bad considering a typical Versace dress runs in the thousands, would have gotten me (or you) this beautifully adorned gold beaded Versace dress…yes, would have.
Unfortunately, a Versace spokesman reported almost the entire collection of women’s wear, including the dress above, sold out within 24 hours and there are no plans for future deliveries. Boo.
However, H&M does have a 7 day return policy so if you’re up for multiple trips to the store you can try your luck at grabbing one of these couture pieces at a ridiculously low price!
While there is a sparse collection left in women’s, it’s even worse for the men. The H&M Versace Men’s Collection completely sold out within 24 hours. Although again, you might have a slim chance with returns.
The men’s wear strongly mirrored the women’s with ecclectic black and white patterns, and splashes of tropical flare in bright greens and blues. Check out the t-shirt below which sold for $24.95. While at a distance the pattern seems to be of leaves, they are actually small crocodiles!
Still interested in checking out the entire collection, visit H&M Versace.
Celebs that love Versace include Nicki Minaj, Prince, Lady Gaga, and Blake Lively.
ONLY IN CHICAGO ...would you see something like this! (Warning, sometimes it gets weird in the Windy City.)
